OnePlus is always known for its improved hardware and user experience. However, while being among the best OEMs in software maintenance, OxygenOS, it also has some pitfalls. The OxygenOS lacks some of the fancy new features that come with the Pixel and other devices. OnePlus always guarantees a bug-free experience before introducing any new features on its tailored Android ROM.

OnePlus also facilitates third-party development on its devices as it does not void the warranty when rooting the device. Because of such policies, OnePlus has always remained the OEM of choice of third-party developers for various Ministries, themes, and the like. Users also love to embed their devices and tweet them later for a personalized experience. Similarly, we share with you an Xposed module, which will allow you to test Pixel devices such as the Always-On display on OnePlus devices.

OnePlus devices have built-in support for the ambient display and some other advanced display features, but the Online Display is missing. It was initially available on some OnePlus devices, but was later disabled. Always On Display (AOD) allows the device to continue displaying vital information with little power consumption.

A new Xposed module can give the popular Online Display (AOD) function like Pixel. It will replace the Surround Display option in the device. Most of the features like Now play, Dash charging indicator and content viewing work without affecting battery usage.

If you are ready to have this popular feature on your OnePlus device, carefully follow the steps below.
