Xiaomi has kept to its promise to launch Android 10 for Poco F1. The company is rolling out the Android update with the new MIUI firmware build number 11.0.4.0.QEJMIXM. The same update is currently limited to a few users.

The new build includes all of Android 10’s luxuries and packs additional features on the Xiaomi side. There are some unique Xiaomi features like swipe gestures, new navigation gestures and much more.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure the latest stable update is installed.

  • Move the update.zip file from the PC to the root directory of the smartphone.

Steps to install Android 10 MIUI 11 on Poco F1

During installation, do not interrupt the update by forcing shutdown or restart. It may lock your device permanently.

  1. On your smartphone, open the update app on Poco F1 by going to Settings> About phone> System updates.
  2. Tap three dots in the top right corner and select the ROM package.
  3. Select the Android OTA zip and wait for the installation to complete. (Note: the phone will restart automatically.)
